RE: Grumpycat Attack and the Collateral Damage

in #grumpycat7 years ago

Very well said! When I read "collateral damage" I felt disgusted, even thought this was a @grumpycat posts and was ready to call him/her a sociopath. I will always remember that day that I post about GrumpyStupidCat fighting back and won! Only thing he could do after that was leaving a stupid picture in my post:

@grumpycat uses bidbots himself and always update his stupid comments. Pretty sure he/she is just a very sad person with lots of money in Steem power, nothing else.

As far as the comments made to me, I understand that when you downvote someone, you make the rewards turn back to the pool.
Then when you upvote yourself heavily you take more rewards that you should...This may be the motivation of his actions.
Being sociopath may not be the correct explanation.
Don't take my comment as truth yet because I am investigating this economy issue deeper to be sure it works this way.

FD.

Even worse. At the end of the day this is what decentralization means. He can keep doing that and all we can do is watch or join together and flag him, but that is a fight that we will lose because he has many big whale friends that will flag us back. After my post about him, my post after that one got flag again and I know it was on purpose to pissed me off but I just ignore him and stop using the bid bots that he claimed were the caused of the flags. Maybe one day Whales wont have such authority and it will be a bit fairer for all of us. It sucks to get $50,$200,$300 take back from a post just because.
