My entry for the Mediaworks design contest | Graft: A payment network with cryptocurrencies

Graft is a rare ICO project with its own block chain. The team is so dedicated to the integration of cryptocurrencies and the creation of a commercial solution that has developed a chain of blocks built around the systems and processes of merchants, which brings together the most advanced techniques in space and solves problems with other cryptocurrencies. Soon, merchants with Graft will be able to accept crypto at the point of sale as easily as they do with cash or credit cards.

As such, the blockchain-based Graft network will not be subject to the underlying conditions of the Ethereum block chain, such as latency and rates, which places the company in a strong position to offer optimal payment services.

Graft, the first blockchain network of open source payment gateways designed for Point of Sale, advancing ahead of schedule and launching its main network on January 16, 2018, before the start of the Initial Coin Offer (ICO) ) of the company, which begins on January 18.

The goal of GRAFT with the implementation of RTA technology is to allow merchants to operate in exactly the same way they always did. No new equipment, no surprises. A perfect integration that gives them an additional capacity to accept encrypted payments.

Currently, using bitcoin and many other cryptocurrencies is more expensive for consumers than credit and debit cards. A consumer could pay up to $ 30 in transaction fees. In addition, existing cryptocurrencies do not offer traders, who are not sure about the legal or tax implications of accepting payments with cryptocurrencies, the freedom to decide in which currencies (fiduciaries or cryptocurrencies) they would like to charge. Graft has the mission to solve these existential problems and incorporate the acceptance of the cryptocurrency.

Transactions in the Graft network will be confirmed in real time and the transaction fees will be a fraction of those of the existing cryptocurrencies, and will be driven by the amount of the transaction instead of the network load as in the case of bitcoin . The Graft network is also designed to encourage micro transactions. In addition, Graft works with existing payment behaviors and infrastructure, allowing merchants to accept payments in both local fiduciary currencies and cryptocurrencies. In other words, Graft allows encrypted payments to work so easily and conveniently with MasterCard, Visa and Amex.

My design for the platform

My design gave a logo related to the electronic payments since graft does not have one. I changed little to the design of the name "Graft", its biggest feature is that I added the 3 points of colors (red, orange and yellow) in the letter G and not separately.

The slogan is the same as the platform, but I added a small modification to the letters apra ahcerlas more sophisticated and similar to the G of "Graft", in addition to making an animation that makes it more striking.
