When Winds of Winter!?

Brandon Sanderson argues he should have been hired for the video game job, over George R.R. Martin, because Martin doesn't know much about video games, while Sanderson does.

My own concern is very different: Working on the video game is likely to further divert Martin away from working on the long-promised Winds of Winter!

Sanderson famously helped finish the Wheel of Time series after Robert Jordan died. Perhaps he might end up doing the same for Song of Ice and Fire, if Martin keeps on procrastinating.

On a more serious note, I know I'm in a bad position to criticize Martin for procrastinating on writing projects, because I am far from a paragon of virtue on that subject, myself.
