My Flirtatious Friend

My friend, Casey loves to fool around and always teases people. She is the nicest, so happy go lucky type that wherever she goes, she easily makes friends with anybody she has just met.

So it happened one day we're attending this dinner night for an important organisation in Miri, Sarawak. After dinner, we were invited by our friend whose name is Ken, to hangout and watch a live band show at one of the town entertainment outlet. Ken's friend Rafael was the leading guitarist of the band. Casey is known to be so obsessed with musicians especially guitarist. She was so into the music that night, that she was dancing when the band played their tune.

There were 5 of us at the table. After the band finished their piece, Rafael came to our table to greet Ken and us. Casey, still in excitement, came close to Rafael to shake his hand, and gently put her other hand on top of Rafael's hand and rub it softly while saying,

"Hey... Rafael, I didn't know you play the guitar. For your information, I'm still single".

I was laughing like hell and my two other friends, Guy and Ben quickly bowed their heads in shame and gazed at their mobile phones, pretending like they didn't hear what she has just said. I looked at Rafael and he was blushed, he didn't expect that Casey made that spontaneous move. He just kept on smiling (his big smile reminds me of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle grins) while Casey repeatedly saying that she's still single. Ken, unable to contain his shame, suddenly stood up and said "Let's get out of here" and walked out straightaway. Since he was our driver for the night, we have no choice but to follow him to send us back to our hotel.

The next morning, on our journey back to Kota Kinabalu. Guy and Ben told us that Rafael asked them whether Casey was high on drugs that night. Casey giggled and said that she was only flirting and fooling around. Too bad, some people didn't get the message and even called her a drug addict!
