About time for this post to appear! Information is scarce on how to use the slider and one must learn the hard way! In bad times such as now, I stick to the 50% rule and as the steemit price increases I go back to the 100% habit! Of course it eats into one's voting power, as I was told to try to keep my voting reserve at 90%. I just do not have the heart to give a person 1% of my vote! 2%, 5%, or even 10% is low offering especially if a person has put a lot of effort into their post, as we all do.
