Trump Wants to Execute Drug Dealers in the United States
This is no longer a partisan issue. Americans need to stop being so politically polarized, because it's headed us down some very dangerous roads.
Republicans and Democrats should be united against a president like Trump, but they can't be, because the sentiment on both sides of the aisle is hey, FUCK YOU BUDDY. The truth is that neither party is truly on the side of the average US citizen, but the powers that be have the citizens fighting amongst themselves, comparing scars and pointing fingers, oblivious to what's actually going on around them.
The always on-point Tom Angell wrote a great piece on this topic for Marijuana Moment which you should definitely check out.
It was frightening enough to hear a US President praise an authoritarian wanna-be dictator like President of the Phillipines Rodrigo Duterte, who has not only condoned the killing of drug dealers and users, but he's bragged about killing people himself and even said his own son will be killed if he's involved in drugs. He's started a drug war which has already claimed the lives of over 12,000 people.
Now there are reports of Trump saying that he wishes he could do the same in the US. This should alarm every single person who believes in freedom.
Do you remember when this meme was going around in 2016? Would it be humorous if it ended up predicting the future?

Thank you for this perspective, perfectly staying what myself and a lot of other people think. Enough is enough, the government has to go... Figuratively of course.... The govt needs to be cut by at least 70% in my opinion. Re-posting and up voting
I read Freedom by @adamkokesh and he makes a very good argument for a complete (and peaceful) dissolution of the government. I think society can stop thinking in pre-21st century terms pretty soon.

Yes, it is. But things are so messed up currently, I feel like the majority of citizens don't even pay attention to this stuff. Society is going to have its collective head stuck in the sand which is the infinite scroll of Facebook while an authoritarian hellhole develops all around us.

Time to purge our system of corruption and government that’s not on the people’s side. So many simply don’t make any sense at all. This drug war kills more people than drugs do. Just common sense. Peoole in jail and for using MJ, a proven med. We are letting the government rule with no common sense. Great post.
