RE: Healthy Vegetarian Recipe: Quinoa & Black Lentil Salad 🥑🍅🥒🌶️

in #food7 years ago

Another great post Moni. Quinoa is so popular in Ecuador and Peru. Two countries that I've spent a lot of time in. You're food looks so healthy. I've been eating way less meat these days! Good for the animals and I'm starting to get that healthy glow that you have! I'm easing my way into possibly cutting it out all together. Tough for a guy like me. But I'm seeing the benefits.

Also wanted to thank you for stopping by my blog and tipping me one of your nice up-votes. You and I go back a quite a ways now. Not sure if you noticed but I have a list of supports I mention at the end of each post. So I'm thinking I'll go ahead and add you to it as long as don't mind.

Have a great day! -Dan

Hello Dan! Is really nice to see you on my blog 😍
I am so proud of you that you eat less meat. I know it is not easy, especially when traveling.
In Poland quinoa is quite expensive, so I'm jealous you have easy access to it ;)) quinoa contains a lot of protein, along with beans or lentils, it's great for vegetarians.
I also thank you for your upvotes!!!
It's an honor for me to be on your list.
Take care! Moni 😊

Thanks Moni! I can imagine that's quite an import. I lived in Hong kong for a year, quinoa was through the rough in price. In Ecuador I'd buy a lb for like 30 cents! That's what one thing I love about traveling, enjoying what each country produces. Now let's not even get into the high end 5-10 dollar bottles of wine in Chile! Unreal!

I'll try to make a point to check in more often. Your blog is top-notch!
