How much you know Apple a day???

Apple :

  1. Good source of Vitamin C - keep you from getting sick
  2. High in fiber - Help you poo
  3. Low calories - easy filling
  4. Great for weight loss
  5. Tastes fantastical

Most of people say "fruit making me fat", in the following I want to take a moment to clear the air.

Fruit has sugar but the notion that sugar inherently makes you fat is patently false. If your friend say sugar makes him fat usually, it is because they think sugar spikes the insulin and since insulin cause to store fat, sugar makes him fat.

On a surface level that it sounds logical and makes sense. However if you dig deeper you will find it is an overly simplistic view of your body and how it works. Is truth that insulin is spiked by much more than just sugar and the only way for your body to store fat is if you have more energy going in than you do going out.

We can argue all day long about fructose and insulin and glycemic load and blah blah blah but what it really all boils down to is this - - > how many people do you know who have ever gotten fat from eating fruit?
