Meal Prepping: Last Minute Style
I give myself 20 or so minutes in the morning to prep my lunch/ snacks for the day. First what I'll do is start cooking my breakfast which is usually some sort of egg white brekkie sandwich.
1 egg, 3 egg whites, 2 slices of uncured turkey bacon, 40 cal swiss cheese slice, and whole wheat bread
While that's cooking I'll start grabbing things from my cubboard that's already ready to go like protein bars and drinks.
I measured 4 cups of simply popped popcorn and 2.5 oz of jerky using my scale for accurate macros.
Next is the fridge.
I grab my greek yogurt, measure 227 grams (1 serving) it into a container, and cheese sticks.
Whip up a quick salad and grab leftover salmon.
Measured 2.5 servings of greek yogurt dressing, and 2 oz of meat.
Load up on some cherries and I'm good to go.
300 grams without stems
As you can see I try to capitalize on getting enough protein, and voluminous foods to keep me full throughout the day. Granted I have been doing this routine for quite some time now, so 20 minutes to me, might not be enough for you. Everything I eat is tracked through * Myfittnesspal* which keeps me accountable and on track. I love already packaged foods because it makes my morning so much smoother when it comes to packing lunch.
What does your lunch look like and what is it filled with? Let me knowww! 👇👇👇

Nice post.Thank you for sharing.
It's nice to see someone honest about meal prep lol... It's not always sitting in the kitchen for 2.5 hours on Sunday night baking chicken and steaming broccoli. Sometimes it's just making sure you have the food you need for the day first thing in the morning!
Exactly. I think i have done that maybe 3 times since i started training 4 years ago. It's just about what works best for each person's lifestyle. Like if you want to slave in the kitchen, you do you boo. Not me. Hahah
haha no kidding! It doesn't need to be an all day affair... just make sure you've got healthy options and you're good to go!

Everything looks delicious @miranda.odell
I eat rice and chicken or lunch.
I really like your style of organizing things. I generally skip my veggies. Instead I prefer oats. That's some good source of complex carbs, along with bread as you mentioned.
And protein bar always comes in handy.
