Tajikistan pilaf
There is a lot of rice recipe very well known in Central Asia, I will show you that of Tajikistan
- Piece of sliced beef and fat rendered from the tail of a sheep
- After having golden brown with oinon now you have to put the spices and the carrots
- Natural spices from Tajikistan; Currant grapes, Tajikistan gem salt, pepper flakes, Lemon granules, Coriander seeds, Black pepper, Ginger, Cumin, Cinnamon, Argan oil, Chili red pepper
- Waiting... 20min.

Making an instant come back: Seeing the rice white and coloured I said that is a biryani since in a pillao, rice and curried meat (they don’t make much of introducing spices) being cooked together the rice gets a beige colour from the curried meat stock. The second picture looks fine. These day in Kampala it is invariably the biryani that is served at khushialis. They will also do a vegetarian version.
