Yes, it is different, Morodiene, at least that's what my mother told me. She loved flying solo - just her, the plane and the wild blue yonder. That wasn't passed down to me, however.
I don't know that I would do it often since it doesn't seem to be terribly practical, but maybe it's like boating.
