Though I don't disagree, the same can be said for TV, our peers, and our schools. A path to truth cannot be based upon hearsay, or what we are taught to think. It must instead be based upon objective methods of reason and observation, without bias.
Smart words...without bias could be tough. Sometimes people believe in what they want to believe, and it is very difficult to persuade them otherwise. As for the earth being round- it spins and revolves around the sun. That is why there are different time zones and the view of the moon is always changing ex full moon, half moon, etc
