Dancing is our daily life that we always do. We really feel the happiness can be here. We've become one family and that's the family we'll always keep. Friends must know if Jabbawockeez has a Crew that is not small.
That is the word worthy of a person who has a family. Even though the family is as small as a well, it is family. We can complement each and every deficiency we have.
The Jabbawockeez (stylized as JabbaWocKeeZ) is an American hip-hop dance crew, best known for being the winners of the first season of America's Best Dance Crew in 2008. They were initially formed by members Kevin "KB" Brewer, Phil "Swagger Boy" Tayag, & Joe "Punkee" Larot under the name "3 Muskee". By 2004, their members included Ben "B-Tek" Chung, Chris "Cristyle" Gatdula, Rynan "Kid Rainen" Paguio, and Jeff "Phi" Nguyen. Tony "Transformer" Tran joined the crew in 2013. The Jabbawockeez do not have a group leader; choreography for their performances, as well as music and design choices, is made as a collective unit.
The name "JabbaWockeez", created by Joe Larot, was inspired by the fantasy monster of Lewis Carroll's poem. White masks and gloves from the looks of Phil, Kevin and Joe as Three Musky are taken as the visual characteristics of this group. In San Diego, via Gary's connection, JabbaWOckeez recruits Rynan "Kid Rainen" Paguio and Chris "Cristyle" Gatdula from the b-boys group into his group. The original seven members of JabbaWockeez started their performance as a group in 2003. Its members consist of Gary, Randy, Phil, Kevin, Joe, Rainen, and Chris.
JabbaWockeez increased the number of its members, bringing their total to eleven. Jeff "Phi" Nguyen of Phoenx met Rynan Paguio at several Los Angeles auditions and performances, and got a place at JabbaWockeez with a race against Kevin Brewer. JabbaWockeez also brought Kaba Modern Ben's alumni "B-Tek" Chung and Eddie "Eddiestyles" Gutierrez and Saso "Saso Fresh" from b-boys into the group.
Jabbawockeez is a hip-hop dance crew from San Diego that won the first season of America's Best Dance Crew reality dance. Since the victory, the group has received a greater offer by appearing in several music and advertising videos, international tours, and performing with Shaquille O'Neal in the 2009 NBA All-Star Game. They are known for wearing plain white masks and gloves to make the audience focus on their movements as a group rather than individually.
