Is Steemit , Face Book, Tweeter , Instagram (social media ) full of Fools?
Social media is fraught with weird characters and many great people too however many unintelligent people have flooded social media –especially Facebook with information’s that can make a grown man scream in despair –which resulted to people forgetting the big picture here : Knowledge.
Here are some few points:
Steemit is different: The reward system at steemit has made people to bring out their best when posting article and to avoid childish or weird posts like selfies ( when they are in the toilette ) due to the flagging system here. However steemit has its limitations example are those who post a single pictures of cat, bees , flower, birds, house etc without any explanatory notes.
Facebook: many ignorant people have been caught for crimes they posted on FB
One example is the below woman who advertised to sell her 2 kids in order to pay for the bail cost of her boyfriend.

Knowledge and relationship: Social media is full of knowledge and great relationship opportunities. One good example is steemit where members can learn new things daily and build solid relationships with intelligent people by joining their groups and or communities, asking questions, learning new things and making new contacts. This is how social media should be however most (especially Facebook) are flooded with unintelligent people, posting crimes, selfies and weird stuffs like the one below:

I agree with you man, Steemit is really the platform for all the writers and bloggers to meet like minded people, and create a good relationship with them. It also helps to learn the writer like us to learn new things, Afterall no one is too old to learn something new.
I also agree with you facebook, is although good for social interaction with friends and family but it is filled with various sort of people who want nothing more than to fraud you or to cause you harm.
I have recently read a in news that Facebook is facing issues of fake news-where there are many idiots who just want increase the visitors to there page post fake news, also many hater in oder to discredit some persons post fake information about them. But, Steemit doesn't have that problem because of its voting system, as if any idiot who tried to post false information then, the community will itself flag him and because of one person one account policy he will be difficult for him to create a new account.
Facebook has done more harm than good to any person & Steemit is something which will in coming future become revolutionize the entire social media, when the number of its users will match that of Facebook.

I would agree to what you say about social media in general. But you know, when you look at it in terms of a large average of people, it is mostly stupidity that prevails on social media. Especially with the selfie trend, the attention seeking attitude and over the past few years, the rise of fake news and the inability of people to sift between facts and nonsense. But social media also has a lot of intelligent people on it. The reason we don't see them often is because they are too busy to be posting or doing stupid things.
The problem with most social media is that it doesn't demand quality, and you are basically interacting with friends, and most of them will be either like you. So stupidity is followed by more stupidity.
However steemit has its limitations example are those who post a single pictures of cat, bees , flower, birds, house etc without any explanatory notes. - This will be a trend that will continue. However, most of these users will not be around for long because of Steemit's culture.

No, I just think there are more fools (in reality maybe I am a fool also) in other media than on Steemit only because those others have way more members. Percentage wise I think it is all about even.
