I agree with you man, Steemit is really the platform for all the writers and bloggers to meet like minded people, and create a good relationship with them. It also helps to learn the writer like us to learn new things, Afterall no one is too old to learn something new.

I also agree with you facebook, is although good for social interaction with friends and family but it is filled with various sort of people who want nothing more than to fraud you or to cause you harm.

I have recently read a in news that Facebook is facing issues of fake news-where there are many idiots who just want increase the visitors to there page post fake news, also many hater in oder to discredit some persons post fake information about them. But, Steemit doesn't have that problem because of its voting system, as if any idiot who tried to post false information then, the community will itself flag him and because of one person one account policy he will be difficult for him to create a new account.

Facebook has done more harm than good to any person & Steemit is something which will in coming future become revolutionize the entire social media, when the number of its users will match that of Facebook.
