Expectations - Revised

It's all about EXPECTATIONS. What expectation and judgment do I set for someone else to meet? When I can make a judgment or expectation of someone else, I am telling myself what I am not doing to align with my own needs.

I will repeat this lesson -from relationships with my parents, my children, friends, and those that hold my affections. It is a lesson that requires application over and over again until it comes with ease; from clarity and practice.

Expectations are invisible to a closed mind and not entirely visible to an expanding one. Try reading the text in my post and see if it makes any sense. It can get tangly and twisty!

What I kNOW today (revised):

Anytime I have the thought or dialogue with myself that someone isn't doing something the way I would want them to be doing it or I am not experiencing them as I would desire then I am needing to look inward -- toward unresolved emotional issues and/or traumas. Those are the obstacles I must overcome so that I feel ready and/ or willing to take responsibility and action to improve MY situation. Change DOES NOT come from OUT THERE!

As long as I have this dialogue within me (aka resistance), I manifest (see) actions from others to prove my dialogue of THEM is valid, therefore, remain stagnant and unwilling to take action or accountability (aka being responsible) for myself and my progression (evolution, growth).

When I choose courage over the fear of self-discovery, resistance is released and I manifest (experience) my life with more ease and lightness.
