FDA speed.
Speaking of Europe vs the US on health issues, I think people see the FDA as uniquely slow, but it is actually one of the faster drug agencies in the world. Especially in the last decade with the reforms for accelerated approval.
The EMA is a lot slower as it has to have multiple rounds of review with member states. And its accelerated pathways are not as efficient as the FDA's.
And the FDA does some things that many other drug agencies don't do- it does its own independent analysis of raw clinical data and usually wants representative data for Americans.
