RE: 🔊BitShares Hangout #55 | 2018-1-20 | Sat @200PM UTC | OpenSource Agenda [Beyondbit Raffle Powered by SP!]
Some general Bitshares updates
Suggested Duration: 10 to 20 minutes
- Testnet Bitshares HUG REST API server created, might be a bit buggy but it's live!
- Hertz is 71% activated - We require 2 more active price feed publishers.
- Pull request: Changing Hertz Core Exchange Rate (CER) to 20% from 5% in line with wackou & reference price feed scripts.
- Created a Testnet Hertz MPA. The reference price feed scripts don't work yet, because they reference the bitUSD MPA which doesn't exist on Testnet.
- Requesting the committee changes the max asset feed publisher quantity from 10 to 25
- Created a Hertz price feed HTML page as an alternative to cryptofresh.
- 'bitUSD' or 'USD:BTC:BTS' which should be the reference USD price for Hertz & Hero?
- Both Hero and Hertz are integrated into in the BTS_Tools and Bitshares-Pricefeed repos, however the USD reference is different and it may be causing a slight difference between price feeds right now.
- BTS_Tools references the price of BTC when evaluating the price of USD (External price feeds), where as 'Bitshares-Pricefeed' references bitUSD's settlement price directly (Internal decentralized price feed).
- The price of the two can be different, causing a slight disagreement in the exact price of Hero|Hertz in the price feeds.
@cm-steem do you do videos about Hertz?
I've not done any myself, no. If you're interested in doing so then I'd greatly appreciate that :)
Then I would have to understand them first :P So can I make money with Hertz? XD Maybe then I'll figure it out you know financial motivation, Pavlov reflex and all that ;)
