A Slab
In some states in Australia we use the term Slab to denote a carton of 24 beers. It is mainly used in Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia. In the video I explain how to use the word.
When you go to a bottleshop, which are the only places where you can buy bulk bottles alcohol, if you ask for a slab of anything, it will be 24 bottles in a box.
Buyer: "Can I please how a slab of Fosters (No one drinks Fosters in Australia)"
Seller: "24 cans of Fosters is $35, thank you"
And that is how you use the word Slab people.
