1. Definitely don't need the laptop lock unless you're outrageously paranoid and planning on leaving your laptop places for extended periods of time while you are out of sight of the laptop.

2. Bed lifts may be useful, but for the most part, you won't need it.

3. Printers are fun if you're worried about printing something for a class that is far away from public printing locations, or you really enjoy printing random essays, poems and such..

4. If you're not going to bring the ironing board, you pretty much should also forget about the iron. But yeah, I survived college without both of these items. If you're desperate, there's always a local dry cleaner that you can get your shirt laundered and pressed for your job interview (it will probably look better if it's professionally done anyway!).

5. I agree, Buy Used Books, or Rent them if you can.
