Steemit: An undervalued precious Gem

Steemit is indeed the best social media platform in the world because of the ability to reward content creators  more than any other social media , its top security , storage capability , uncensorship ,  great people and importantly, built on steem blockchain technology. However, unlike Facebook and Twitter which are shaping our world debate, steemit  still need some time in order to reach mainstream and thus become a household name  like facebook -which in return will turn the value of steem to USD 1000+ in few years’ time.

According to Coindesk.com - an early investor in Twitter  Naval Ravikant is  on the lookout  to fund a blockchain alternative to the popular social media platform: 

In new remarks to CoinDesk, Naval Ravikant, the co-founder of AngelList, revealed he intends to sponsor a prize that will be awarded to anyone who can develop a version of Twitter with no central authority, and where users are able to monetize their contributions. The capital is being made available as part of an initiative that will provide financial assistance to entrepreneurs seeking to build blockchain applications on the Blockstack platform. While details about the prize remain sparse, Ravikant told CoinDesk: Read all here  

Even though steemit has seen huge success , it is however ,  still on beta.  I was wondering if Naval Ravikant was unaware of steemit -which provides a better service than what he requested and thus @ned , @dan et al should win the price. Moreover, this shows that management and steemit members need to do a better job in positively selling this great platform to the word in order to reach more people.  

Some few  points are:

• Tell your friends and Family members how they can benefit from Steemit: many people will love to get paid doing what they love.
• Deviate from spamming this platform , respecting fellow bloggers and avoiding plagiarism. 
• Tell your co-workers or  fellow students about steemit
• Post about Steemit on social media: Use Face book, twitter,  Linkedin , youtube and twitter to sell steemit to the world.

Many steemians , examples ,  @jerrybanfield , @dollarvigilante ,  @suppoman ,  @sweetsssj and @heiditravels (to mention only few) are doing great work via their videos or blogs in showing the world the ingenuity and advantages of this great platform and thus have signed up many followers to steemit. However we all have to join the effort which in return will be a win win for all.

                                     

Conclusion: Steemit is indeed an undervalued precious Gem and has all the potentials to take over social media segment in few years’ time which in return will lead to an upward trend in steem price.Conversely, however, in order to achieve success, we as stakeholders must do our own part in selling steemit positively to the word- which is a win win for all.
