RE: [Recipes] Medicinal Cooking - Diets For Ailments & Disease - Probiotics & Gut Health

in #ecotrain6 years ago

I love all the recipes on this page. I guess I missed out on what @eco-alex or @eco-train was doing over the last few weeks. Been busy harvesting, canning, fermenting and cleaning up the garden. I already stop eating most days at 7 and do not eat until 9-11 am the next day. I have never thought about a salt flush. 1 liter is a lot of water but I shall give this a try. Last year I always had ACV in the morning with turmeric and ginger. I shall start that again. Another that I had to resteem. TY @porters.

I'm just getting back after the Hardfork catching up with my posts. I too spent my downtime cleaning up the garden, harvesting and canning. I moved a lot of my gardening stuff indoors for the temperatures drop below freezing most nights now. I'm a big fan of intermediate fasting, it just makes sense to give your digestive system a rest to reset. The salt water flush does seem pretty harsh but it certainly does the trick. I don't use it very often but it was great when I first made a big change in my diet and wanted my colon cleaned out , better to be able to utilize the good organic whole foods I was changing to. It is a lot of water to get down in one go, I used a 1 quart sealer to chug it down. Not sure what an ACV is but I love ginger and turmeric, I have the lemon ginger turmeric drink quite often, good for toning up the digestive system. Glad you got something out of my post. @eco-alex has put out a new QOTW for @ecotrain so stay tuned!
