Yes, this is one of these videos loaded with lots of energy, effects and emotions!
I can't help myself, but that's the sentimental way I look back on my time with you. Steem has changed a lot of things in my life, I'd even say: it has changed everything.
Starting to record my surf sessions for you, has lit a fire for surfing insight myself that'll be hard to stop.
I felt a constantly increasing, positive pressure to deliver, to paddle out no matter what, to go find my limits, to never give up, to share something really special and unique with you.
When I look at all these videos I've published on the Steem blockchain until today, it makes me feel proud and grateful that we've come so far.
I'd never have imagined that this could be "my album" once.
The above linked video is a thank-you message to all of you who've helped me to grow in many aspects.
I hope I could give you something back, because that's always been one of my greatest aims.

You might not remember, but when I started out on steemit I was struggling to find my niche....trying to posts bits and pieces of everything and you helped me a lot to find stability here on steemit and gain a genuine follower base (you gave those suggestions from a different account to this one if I remember correctly haha, was a long time back)!! You were even kind enough to follow up on me and check whether I received your suggestions!! I must say those suggestions have worked wonders for me and I'm extremely grateful for the work you've done to guide beginners and I often repeat those suggestions to any newcomer I see struggling here on steemit :)
So, Thank You @surfermarly for guiding me to where I am today on steemit!!

I was already hoping for more surfing footage, and here it is! :) It's great to see how you're improving your skills and sharing it on Steemit. I kind of feel like your surfing footage might work well as a music video for one of my tracks! ;) And yeah, just 5 minutes in the ocean...totally recharges and energizes you doesn't it, I know the feeling..

They are on the same wave, I like that...well said :) Everyone should be using some more ocean metaphors in their daily lives! Anyway, the Drops of Summer video is really cool...the song definitely fits the visuals. Nice work! That's kind of what I was envisioning as well...
I have a few already released tracks that I feel would work really well (This one for example (since it's about surfing!)). Most of my tracks don't (yet) have any cool visuals. But I do also have a new track almost finished.. So let me know what you'd prefer...and there's no rush of course!

I'm glad you liked Drops of Summer, it's been the clip I have spent most time with. Your Ocean track is really nice, too!
Currently I'm suffering a bronchitis which is why I haven't been publishing new videos lately. First I need to recover, and then I can shoot new footage. So no rush is mandatory for me...:-) Probably my next video will be from the Alpes in Switzerland where I go for skiing in March. Then we'd need a different sound.

Haha, don't worry...I totally understand the 'no rush', even without being sick! I suffer from lack of time as well... Skiing in the Alpes sounds awesome though! That should make for some great footage! I haven't been there for a long time in winter... True, that would require a more wintery sound though...

Hey @phinaloly! I'm glad you enjoyed the video in such way.
When starting on steemit I never had the idea of quitting. One year later there was a point in time when I considered leaving, but that was only due to some idiots who tried to tear me down :-) You overcome such moments by focussing on the positive, by surrounding yourself by nice people and by looking back how far you've come. Setting clear targets for your Steem journey also helps in the beginning. Define some goals, and then work towards them.

I can tell you that you'll never be fully committed, there will be ups and downs. This place is constantly changing and sometimes you love it and sometimes you don't :-) What I've learned so far is that the most important thing is that you try to do 'your thing'. Just use Steem and all these apps like you want and in the rhythm you can, don't feel pushed or forced to do or say anything you don't want. It's just a game in the end. Many people go crazy about it and sometimes debate ends up in silly drama. That's not the way a website (which it is in the end) should influence our lives... Real life is taking place outside our computers :-)
Hence... I'll go surfing now! :-)

Oh you're so right! :) I try as much as possible to stay off my phone/computer so it is kind of conflicting with me also wanting to spend more time on steemit. I've definitely had a bunch of ups and downs so far and they will most likely continue. It's good to hear that they happen for you as well :) I guess I just have to go with it, follow my moods and bursts of inspiration and see where they take me :P

La verdad que esto es una pasada comparado con Andalucia, mucho mas consistente... pero tengo pendiente ir a las islas la próxima vez que vaya a España... surfear sin neopreno no tiene competencia!

I remember when you said good-bye and were quitting. That's what steemit chat will do to anyone. I stay away from live talking except with family. Love watching you surf and and I love your intonation in Spanish. Never stop steeming.

I couldn't agree more with your "no-chat-strategy". After that famous "goody-bye-post" I have reduced my time spent in chatrooms to max. 5 minutes per day. Now my life is much better :-)
