Welcome back to Mid-Day Motivation with @JustLibby! Every day I provide thought-provoking quotes by some of the world's most influential men and women!

Taking care of ourselves and maintaining a physically fit lifestyle isn’t an easy task. With the hustle and bustle of life, we oftentimes neglect our health and positive habits.

For most of us, our lives revolve work, our family, and friends. Due to our lack of time, we deprive ourselves getting an adequate amount of sleep, we tend to make less than ideal food choices, and opt out of exercising. Our choices affect all areas of our lives including our emotional well-being, stress levels, and our health in general.

Not only do our decisions impact our own lives it also influences our friends and families. In order for us to positively affect the ones closest to us, it's necessary that we focus on ourselves and take care of our bodies.

Getting enough sleep is a keystone habit to implement straight away. Feeling rested will help us make better choices which will support healthier patterns in all facets of our lives. Think about, wouldn't you more likely exercise if you had energy verses feeling sluggish? The same goes for eating healthier. Without a doubt, if I'm rested and feeling light I would choose to eat fresher foods like fruits in the morning rather than heavier greasier options.

Basically, getting enough z's will propel you to towards a healthier lifestyle which will motivate you to exercise. Studies have shown that regular exercise changes the brain to improve memory, thinking skills. source - harvard.edu

You feel me? It's all interconnected and the best way to take care of our bodies is first to get enough rest!

I have an affection for Jim Rohn mainly for the fact that he influenced so many big motivational leaders like Tony Robbins and Jack Cranfield.
