ORIGINAL SONG 'FLY'- featured in the movie 'Miss Arizona'
Hi Everyone,
Here is my song ‘Fly’ which I mentioned in my post a couple of days ago, as it was featured in the new movie by Autumn McAlpin, ‘Miss Arizona’.
The movie had it’s LA premiere on sunday night at the Mann’s Chinese Theater and it was an awesome feeling to hear my song playing during a crucial scene up on the big screen!!
I released ‘Fly’ on ‘Bittersweet EP’ in 2013. It’s a very experimental song that I’m super proud of!
I’ve always loved jamming around with different chords and singing without lyrics… kind of wailing and humming etc… so ‘Fly’ was the result of one of these improvisations. (It has no lyrics and is just atmospheric vocals over vibey instruments)
Emile Kelman did an amazing job of producing a really moody, atmospheric, tribal sound and I was really happy with how it came out.

Thanks love! I actually tried a few times and couldn't manage to post on Dtube... 😳 maybe it's something with my computer... but I've found posting on Dlive really easy and straight forward. Maybe one of these days I'll figure it out and post on both! (loving Dlive too much to stop that!)
Beautiful!! This was the perfect way to end my night before I head to bed. It definitely has a mix of relaxing tones...but also some energizing moments as well. I could see this being a good song to listen to when I want to get in the zone and be super creative.

Very lovely song! The lack of actual lyrics works quite well, allowing the listener to just listen without having to concentrate too hard and pick out the words.
That's what I was hoping for! I'm such a fan of lyric-less singing... I find it opens up a whole other musical experience and yes then you don't need to concentrate on the words!
Damn this song is really cool. I could see it working well for a soundtrack too ... Sounds great!
