Dporn Payout Update

New process for receiving PORND payouts

DPorn's developer lead, @pranishg, solicited feedback from the community in discord regarding the payout mechanism for PORND holders. We listened, and are announcing a change to how PORND token holders get paid.

In the previous system, payments were going to be sent on steem in the form of SBD/STEEM. This required every PORND holder to provide their steem name securely on bitshares by sending an amount of BTS or PORND with their name in the memo. As more people are buying PORND, it became apparent that it was not always easy to reach those buyers to make them aware of the process. At one point, we were planning to make it easier by providing a discord bot to assist with that registration.

Discord registration still seemed like too much was being asked of the community. Things will be much easier going forward. Here is the new process:

1. Buy PORND
2. ?????
3. Profit

We are joking a bit there, but the new payout mechanism is too easy. Payouts will be sent as BTS on bitshares, so there is no call for any kind of registration. Token holders don't even need a SteemIt account!

To facilitate this much easier system, we stood up our own bitshares node and got payout development on a new track. Every 13 weeks, the @dporn account will power down the benefactor rewards it has received over the previous 13 weeks, send them to bitshares as BTS via Blocktrades, and payout to holders (according to a weekly snapshot) over the following 13 weeks. This will create an effortless weekly cycle of payments for holders. We will become the first ever decentralized porn platform which distributes 90 % of its revenues to its users and stakeholders.

Work has begun on the new Dporn.co

In other development news, work has started on the new http://dporn.co. The alpha site will continue to function during development of the new site, and we love seeing you all on there. The primary considerations for this next version are to make it mobile friendly and have a better upload system to handle much more content.

Buy PORND to get a portion of the revenue. DPorn pays out 90% of its revenue to holders of the PORND token. Holders receive a percentage of the payout equal to the percentage of the PORND circulating supply they hold.
