RE: Leben und Tod gehören zur natürlichen Ordnung
Dear Kadna,
I will answer you in English, because I want to answer clearly.
At my age, I feel like an authority on this subject, although it is an illusion that death is closer as we get older. Death always shadows our footsteps. It's just that, as we get older, we notice the shadow more.
As an older person (yeah, way older), I'd like to give a report to the young. It's not that bad here. The greatest sensation I have is surprise. Surprise that I survived this long. Surprise that I will never experience certain things again.
I give no one advice, except that what you do now you own forever. I wish I understood that more clearly years ago.
Hope you don't mind my thoughtful response. I read your blog yesterday but have been consumed with research so couldn't stop to make a meaningful comment.
Hope you are well and peaceful, dear Kadna. I love to read your blogs. Good practice in German and good exercise for the heart.
Love,
AG
Thank you for your response!
??? Not meaningful? I like your words and your thouhgts about getting older and what you learned about life.
A good advice. I think you couldn't act in another way "years ago", because we are always acting and living from the now - every lesson we learn, we learn on the way and at the right moment. Looking back makes things clearer - it takes some time to understand the lesson. So you are now at the point to earn your benefit. Therefore advices can make others think about your words, but a change in their life always depends on the now in their life. We all walk our own special way and we make the same mistakes like others - evan if we know better.
I tried to answer in English hoping you can understand my words ;-) Thank you for reading and enjoying my blog! Same to me and i enjoy reading your comments too - i can't imagine a meaningless reply from you! A big hug and much fun on your research! Kadna
Hello dear Kadna,
What a wonderful answer. You are right, of course. I acted in the moment, with what I knew and who I was. It's hard for me not to feel guilt about that, but I didn't know stuff then.
Your words, in German and English, always move me. Always make me smile. I'm glad you can't see me, but if you did you'd see my smile.
There's nothing distant about a sincere virtual friendship. I always understand your words. I just have trouble expressing subtle ideas in a language that is not English. Maybe someday....
Love,
Your friend
AG
Thank you! Three times joy for me: you understand my English, my words move you and make you smile! What can i want more?
Feeling guilty doesn't help - it is useless and causes illness. Take your smile and smile at yourself! Hugs Kadna
Dear @kadna
Teddys don't hug back, but sometimes they're all you have.
