Crackdown on city democracy.

If there's a legitimate reason for governments to exist, it's to enforce contracts. China is blatantly and grossly breaching its contract which was supposed to allow Hong Kong to maintain independence, freedom, and prosperity for another decade.

Hong Kong has been a shining example of what free people and free markets can accomplish for years. It's being destroyed by a socialist dictatorship. We're ignoring it. The UN can't and won't to anything. The USA isn't going to do anything.

Governments are simultaneously showing that they're evil given the opportunity and impotent given the opportunity to defend something good.
