I visited Prague for a few days and it did seem very crowded but I assumed a huge amount of the other people were also tourists passing through. Beautiful place though and the food was great too! Great availability & options in the food stores / supermarkets also! Next time I visit Czech Republic I’ll check out one of your recommendations (:
