RE: Steemit Update [ February 3rd, 2022 ] : Community Curators for February

With all your due respect, @steemitblog, I do have some concerns regarding this new strategy that you're facing. Of course, I don't like the idea of complaining, but I'm kind of worried with this changes of approach that we've seen lately. We're still facing the fact that the program Communities of the Month brought a lot of centralization and misconducts in a bunch of "preferred" communities. Could you please tell us how are you going to control and monitor that this things aren't happening again? I know you have detailed that curators must follow certain tags... but things can get easily misconducted and corrupted.

As I've said before, this new system leads to more centralization, not only in communities but also in the same users as we have already seen more than once... and as this is a decentralized blockchain, this kind of things shouldn't happen. Users might begin chasing curators to reach for a vote, a lot of other users might not even receive the proper support and the same communities will keep on growing and growing, which leads to an unfair privilege.

Could you please let us know what method will you be using against abuse and misconducts?
