Not exactly original, but I was purchasing cannabis about a year ago when the seller suddenly offered a 20% discount if I paid in a major crypto. The same guy later bought some used equipment from a radio station using crypto and is now running a Norwegian podcast (not crypto-related) only accepting crypto from supporters.
