NEO- strong BUY at current price
Ongoing market downturn destroyed last year's hype and many people surrender and sold all Cryptos that they have. I really understand why they did that, because constant FUD that we can hear lately pushed weaker hands to sell. Many people have invested in Cryptos because of all hype, without really understanding Cryptos. They have sold first for sure, because if they don't understand importance of Cryptos then they have no reason to hold their positions.
This market downturns always create buying opportunities and NEO is my current BUY.
I am not going to explain what is NEO. There is many nice articles about it and don't want to repeat that. I will just try to explain why I think that NEO is BUY at current price of 53$.

NEO had a peak in January like all Crypto market and price was around 160$.

Some Cryptos maybe will never reach heights like before but NEO will in my opinion and with current price of 53$ I will have 300% profit if that happens.
There are many nice projects but not all of them will be successful and used. Only projects with real use case will have high price of their tokens. This is why I think NEO price will be higher, because NEO already has many DApps on it's platform. You can see at http://ndapp.org/ DApps on NEO. They are working really hard to promote NEO Smart economy and you can see at https://neo.org/event how many events they had to spread a word about it.
Usage is most important thing for some project. Without it, you can even have best project but if nobody use it, it will fail. ETH is currently most used platform for DApps and its tech is far from being best at moment.
My friend @fullcoverbetting made great comparison with previous video systems, Betamax and VHS. Betamax had superior tech but VHS was used more and Betamax failed.
In case of NEO, NEO has great tech, it is used and it will be used more and more for DApps. That is why I see NEO as a BUY at 53$. Plus you get dividend in GAS for holding. Dividends are great thing, especially when price is dropping. It is easier to hold when you have some passive income.
I would like to hear your opinions about NEO and current Crypto market situation.

Neo is one of my favorites, too. The current restructuring of the foundation has even strengthened my opinion here. All activities are showing how well thought the strategy. Also, the people involved are outstanding from my perspective.
NEO has additionally shown some added value by recent Airdrops which alone made some people rich. Take ONT which is a new superstar for me. MCT might also offer great opportunity once listed on exchanges.
If you read the whitepapers of involved companies like Ontology, these are also profound and well thought.
The only back draw was recent news of vulnerability of some issued tokens, the communication of these topics was extremely honest.
Strong buy or hold for me, too.

Neo was my second moon coin and the one that set me up in crypto. Add in the fact that the Chinese seem to have strong loyalty to their own. I doubt this coin fail to remain in top ten in the near future.
I cant not agree more with you. i intend selling most of my holding to buy Neo. still weeping over not getting the 1st and second airdrops. but God knows am so not missing the next set of drops. my eyes are steaming hot for Cryptos

When stepping into the cryptoworld I told myself sports betting and porn coins will have a future. But I do have neither of them.

Because you need to spread you investments! I do have a firm believe in Steem, but I would not place all my investment in it.

Thats very true, I've been trying to diversify more, but I keep coming back to STEEM. Slowly but surely I'll be diversifying. I used to be 100% BTC, but now I hold a few coins but most is in STEEM.
Neo is awesome rishi - definitely worth getting some. Diversity is naturally Key - I have just powered down over 2000 steem - whilst it might fly i realised i was way over exposed to it.

The lessons I learned during my crypto investments, is not to diversify too much and that it is better to make a few big investments than a lot of small ones
That I will do, i'm definitely the smartest investor, better to take advice from someone who knows what they are doing rather than losing everything to one coin. I haven't invested a single fiat dollar into crypto so everything is pure profit for me so I feel a bit less attached to it. I've cashed out crypto to fiat though, and that felt awesome.
Never spread out your investment too thin. at the end you will get little profit. so look for 4 or 5 gems and pour your best and wait for the moon.
we really need to spread our investment. it is important that we don't carry all our eggs in one basket.

The porn talk was about an earlier comment. Betamax lost the battle against VHS because they offered porn tapes, while Betamax didn’t jump on that wagon fast enough.
That is why porn for into the picture.
It wasn't only porn responsible for beta's decline.Why the fixation on porn? I get the point about gambling and porn are often front runners in digital or transmission technology but that doesn't mean something will fail if not utilizing those markets.
I think humanities growing need to view pornography and its treatment of women in that industry are very concerning in the modern age.

NEO is most certainly a buy at these prices. They are getting more and more ICO's on their blockchain.
On NEO I'm still studying fundamentally.
About the current market conditions, considering ETH a key player, an unfinished retracement is still due. I will hold and buy @ 550$, 525$ and if still drops, @ 425
this is my long term plan (based on MA200 on daily chart)
