Li Ka Shing give $700usd to every Hong Kong high school student.
The Li Ka Shing Foundation last year launched the "money-making" scheme. The Foundation said that many schools, parents and local people had received views and hoped that the "money-making" scheme could be extended to Tuen Mun District Secondary School. Today announced that the area covered by the 2018 plan will be extended from the original Islands District, Tin Shui Wai and Yuen Long to Tuen Mun. A total of 91 schools are expected to attend more than 10,000 students. The Foundation also stated that the unconditional nature of the scheme would break through the restrictions so that students could decide for their own use of $ 5,000.
The program was launched last year and has sent more than 5,700 applicants to questionnaires. Among them, 70% of the 4,244 questionnaires said they would use $ 5,000 for academic related purposes such as DSE exam fees, purchase exercises and enrollment classes Wait.
