RE: Just 2-3 more weeks...

in #cannabis6 years ago (edited)

Very impressive, I just started my first outdoor grow this year but got a very late start because of buying a new home in late june. Then we had to deal with excessive heat and then flooding rain for nearly all of july so I had to keep them indoors much longer than anticipated (basically their entire 6 week veg).. They are looking healthy but don't look anywhere as good as urs.. Yours are very very nice my friend.. I can't wait to see ur finished product :)

Thank you @moderndayhippie! I appreciate the encouragement. Congratulations on the new pad! Sorry to hear about the weather issues you had this year but every year brings new obstacles and with it opportunities to learn. However your grow turns out this year its likely to be better next year. At least that's how it worked for me (last year was a huge disappointment). I made some mistakes this year with the amount of nitrogen still in the soil (harder to grow "off the bottle"). I'm trying to flush that out right now. I'll make sure to keep my fellow steemians updated.

Thanks for taking the time to comment back, I appreciate the encouragement and support from a fellow grower.. I have grown for over a decade in doors but never outside.. I definitely just see this as a learning curve and will prepare better next year.. However, this year alone I have already successfully beat spidermites, high winds, learned to deal with rain, flooding, excessive humidity and realized how different the two grows are so I feel ready to tackle next years grow!! If u have any suggestions or comments I would really appreciate the help :) Thanks, take care. 😁✌

No worries @moderndayhippie. I'm not a professional grower by any stretch, but I'll happily contribute however I can. I love being part of the free exchange of information. It sounds like you've already overcome quite a few obstacles this season. Kudos, for coming out on top of them. The best generic advise I can give is to feed the soil not the plant. You may already know this but it was a breakthrough for me. I'm sure next year will be even better for us. As long as we are continuously learning from our mistakes, how could it not be.
Cheers and Steem On!
