As most of you have heard, Cannabis (AKA: Weed, Pot, The Herb, Marijuana...oh you get my drift) is legal in Canada now. I live in Hacketts Cove, Nova Scotia.
Some folks are happy and some are very unhappy, like my friend @sunnydays-r-over who has coined it: "The re-criminalization of Cannabis".
My story today will focus on my first experience buying and consuming legal weed, and not my opinion on its legalization.
Below is me with my coffee. It has 5mg of THC in it.

Apologies for the blurry photo, it was 34.80 for the oil + 5.22 tax, so roughly $40.00 Canadian Dollars (or $30.00 USD), for 25 ml of THC oil. There is 10.3 mg of THC per ml of this oil.

The day after legalization, numerous people asked me if I had made my order last night. "Of course not." was my answer. "I already had lots!" I just enjoy the reduced stigma and the people coming out of the woodwork as secret users.
One neat experience I had was at the concert last week. We were speculating about the security at the place (which has been draconian in the past) and their likelihood of pulling the "private property" card and being aggressive and belligerent.
Turns out, they were totally cool with it and let it in as long as you smoked it (and regular cigarettes) outside. That alone is worth legalization.
Had a good laugh when my friend was getting searched at the door going in, and said "Please don't crumple my joints." That would have resulted in some unwanted attention just a couple weeks ago.

I would go black market, local known grower, any and every time. This was a necessity situation. And a fun experiment. Yes, their stuff worked, still don't trust it though.
I am thinking the same thing. Black market seems safer. The invested interest takes on a different tone doesnt it? Do I even know what I am talking about. lol
what they should do is be like in Amsterdam and have Hashish bars. then you sit and enjoy with like . since like attracts like. imagine going to a spliff testing. lol I still think the very best place to smoke one is on my deck and next summer I am going to have a wrap around deck. Nothing better than to have several areas. lol
