Naughty monkey on a break 📷B&W Photo Contest
This is my 1st Entry to this weeks bwphotocontest contest created by @daveks! This lovely rhesus macaque was eating some snacks in the Monkey Temple in Krabi province, Thailand, when I noticed it. And I couldn't just pass by :)
Another name of this species is Macaca mulatta, mostly you can find them almost everywhere in South Central and South Eastern Asia. The monkey temple in Krabi(Wat Suwan Kuha in Thai) is home for thousands of monkeys, who live in the caves in mountains. This monkeys can be very aggressive as they are used to get what they want. Thousands of tourists feeding them every day, so their population grows rapidly.

When i was a child one ran up and yanked off my fake shkny little kid necklace. I was devastated lol

They like pretty much everything:) I usually try to keep away from these savages, it might be dangerous! You have to go to the hospital for injections for 6 months after if bitten by one!
oh yeah, those little shits will steal anything! I can imagine they're bursting with all kinds of illnesses too. I would not want to get bitten by one. I shudder when i see youtube videos where people let them climb up on their shoulders and stuff :/
Yeah, I am seeing this all the time here! And they give all kinds of shitty food to the monkeys as well, like coke, chips, etc!
