From Sept.8th: 300% more reward per played song on the Musicoin platform!

Through a September 4th press release, the Musicoin Foundation announced it’ll adjust each artist “Pay-Per-Play” (PPP) reward to the current bear market effect on the $MUSIC currency value: instead of 1 $MUSIC per listened song, the musicians will now receive 3 $MUSIC, allowing them to harvest the equivalent of $0.011 worth of Musicoin per play.

Let’s remind that this amount positions Musicoin as being the best rewarding streaming platform on the market. All the others direct to the creators an income per play ranging from $0.001 (YouTube) to $0.008 (Apple Music), as the herebelow chart confirms:

The Musicoin Project press release also stresses that: > “(…) unlike leading streaming services, artists on Musicoin are awarded 100% of their streaming royalties, instantly. This particular adjustment will be automatically disable whenever Musicoin’s market price goes above the minimum payout of $0.011, so artists can profit from volatility. “Spreading the word for streaming the world”

This move is a bright example of why and how many of us choose to commit themselves in a blockchain-based and community-led income generating environment, instead of in a centralized and for-profit one: we’re fully able to determine and orient our monetary policy, from the Musicoin project itself. It's a tool even the biggest music industry companies don't own.

Besides, Q4 this year will be packed with Musicoin platform and ecosystem improvements. Even without the comeback of a bullish market, the $MUSIC value only can climb :-)
