RE: Steem, The Pulse of Crypto! (100 Steem Contest)
That's a good starting point, and having such messaging/marketing material ready for the next spike in "what is crypto" on google makes sense.
One could also sneak in that the best way to learn crypto is to own crypto. Doesn't have to be much, but buying 50-200 STEEM just to see what it is all about, and thus get a bit more hyped from actually being invested (like how people are more likely to complete an online course if they paid for it). Could be a way to capture some of that value I mentioned.
Yeah, great ideas! I love it. Own, Earn, Trade, Learn expand...
Simply putting "own" first also flips the expectations and mindset going in on its head.
"Earn by posting" = expectations of reward and dissappointment as soon as those are not met. + Naturally assuming that what you get paid is something you're supposed to sell by default. => Harms the quality of users we attract, the retention rate, and lowers the number who holds steem and sees a point in contributing.
"Be a co-owner in Steem" = You want to grow with the platform, make what you own more valuable, and act resposibly because you know you're a part of it.
More so than a rebranding, we need to put a better message in front of our product.
