מסכם חצי שנה בסטים- summarize half year in Steemit.
The most unfortunate thing is that I do not remember what was the first video I saw on Steemit. I only vaguely remember if I saw someone on YouTube talking about the possibility of getting crypto coins through votes, I thought to myself - another project, what can it be.
but then I saw reviews
"Awesome", "Steem is the best crypto platform"
I went in and I did see a few weeks later that I managed to redeem a hundred dollars! - $ 100 Write a Post !!! I remember who voted for me first, who was the first whale to point me @craig-grant
I understood really fast that Steemit is a blockchain which the upvotes are mining Steem and Steem dollars which people pay for freedom on the content industry and decentralized content and media(well now most of them are Korean hehe More money, but I understand it completely ...)
the beginning was really tough!
My post has disappeared between millions of posts. I wanted that someone read my blog !.
but I was determined to invest on Steem.
Little by little I met some amazing friends. People from my community in Israel and people from communities all over the world, I longed for first hand content about the world of crypto and other things.
I was looking for informative news blogs, blogs about nature, stories.
And most importantly - people, life stories of people who are not ashamed to write about everything to get some SBD and fun.
I've been here for over half a year, and the way I see things just getting better, there are already a lot of platforms that use steem blockchain like DTube
At first it was hard for me, I thought people here are arrogant, when I copied a post from another place and they told me it was not good and called me a flag
Once I wrote a post, "Please vote for me, I have not gone to a hotel for a long time"
And they made me a flag (I do not remember which users)
Now I thank them because I understand which direction rolls are going, in the direction that you write something on Google or any other source of search and you will find among other interesting story in Steemit.

Its indeed great that you have shared your honest experiences on steemit. I also went through the same experience. But i was extremely determined like you to keep swimming in tough waters and make it through. I think all minnows need to have patience and the will to keep steeming hard. I used to make money through YouTube, until a few days ago a friend asked me to try steemit.
I suggest it's easier to make a profit through steemit with a few helpful communities.
your post is the best motivation for me more advanced.

It really takes time to anyone new to understand that platform - at the beginning everyone is like "so cool - let's post something, write something for 5 minutes" and we think that the upvotes will start to pile up - easy money! then we get the shock of not getting more than 0.3$ in votes.
Now - a person could get angry and leave the platform disappointed, or he could start READING AND LEARNING about steem, and I must admit it isn't easy to understand the whole thing - it's complicated.
I decided I will try to understand things, and with the help of the Israel community - Noam included, I managed to get hold of the platform's Idea - get social, make friends that will notice your content, create quality content - and be persistent.
I really wish you success in this platform and in the crypto world generally, and success in other matter like studying and all what we spoke about!

@amiramnoam - Great to read about your candid views about 6 months on steemit. A lot of us have had similar experiences but the progress you made after a few setbacks is amazing. Keep it up my friend. Congrats for your success and best wishes for future.

Haha, copying content is definitely not the way to go here, and some of us have to learn it by getting flagged :D I have also been here for over half a year now and I'm not planning to leave this place, because it's really awesome!
