I am also here for a week and have many similar feelings...I have gone through the follow me I follow you, vote for a vote phase and am realizing building quality over quantity and being consistent and genuine is key :) It sucks when you pour your heart out and it falls on deaf ears! I find I get most traction when I focus on things that I am passionate about by seeking out and engaging with people that are posting on subjects that interest me :) Great post!
