The fieldfare (Turdus pilaris)

Once, walking through the woods right on the path in front of me, this young thrush jumped out. Young birds are still very small and stupid, they do not know what fear is and their self-preservation instinct is poorly developed. Therefore, this chick just wandered along the path and occasionally looked at me.

Remember! If you see a lonely chick, it does not mean that he is lost!
His parents know where he is and probably even see him. Do not touch him!
In this case, the parents actually saw him, and were nearby. They were away for a while to find worms that feed the chicks.

Sort:

Fieldfare is very rare in North America, and one has been seen recently in British Columbia, about a 7 hour drive from where I live. I have so far resisted the urge to chase it, but it would be nice.

Oh! Seriously? And here it is quite a common bird in the forests and parks. One of the many birds.
In the future, there will be posts with photos and videos of how and where they nest, how the chicks are fed.

P.S
By the way, I wanted to ask. On your main account @birdbanter already more than 10000 STEEM POWER.
How did you get this so much in such a short time? Can you give advice?

I bought most of it. :.( especially since I bought some at a much higher price that it's at now.
