RE: Homebrewing: My Cookies and Creme Stout is Complete!
There's nothing like brewing your own - the smell of the kitchen, the coming together of the ingredients, the cackling of a mad scientist (maybe that's just me..)
My very first one (a Citra IPA) is only a few days away from finishing, can't wait to get stuck in!
Top effort with your stout by the way, really looks the goods!
I totally get that. I loveeee the smell of cooked grain. Home brew has a really cool taste, it is like home cooking. It’s not as polished and refined as commercially made brew, but the personal connection and it’s imperfections make it awesome.
Dude, I love citra and brewing with citra. Even with all the cool new hops coming out, citra has to be the most reliable and sturdy. So nice for buttering and finishing, where’s a lot of new hops are being designed for whirlpool.
I hope you enjoy the beer and it turns out great! This beer is so sweet and strong, I can have one and be like wooooshhh. But a nice citra ipa..those can be enjoyed all day long.
