A Killer Doomsday Camper
Howdy folks and greetings from the Great Plains of North Texas!
With so many people on Steemit talking about the End coming, the collapse of society, and even a Zombie Apocalypse and the need to plan your escape route...well...I figured I better start looking for an escape vehicle.
I was thrilled to find a company that makes Doomsday campers right over there in Dacono, Colorado. They're called Earth Roamers and here's one of their models, the LTI:
Light but super tough
The entire body is made of carbon fiber so it's much stronger than conventional aluminum camper bodies. It's built on a massive Ford Super Duty chassis.
They're all hand-made to order so you can design your own interior.
Not bad huh?
This thing has a 100 gallon fresh water tank and a 65 gallon gray water tank. It's a diesel with a 95 gallon fuel tank.
It's got solar power too with panels on the roof that generate 1,320 watts of power and a 11,000 watt-hour lithium ion battery pack to run equipment on the inside.
It sleeps four but you also have the couch and over the cab bunk so you could squeeze six in there.
They do make a larger model also, the LTS:
The bad news
The price. They start at $590,000. lol.. What's amazing is that the price isn't stopping anyone. They have an 8 month waiting list! Jason Momoa bought one, I think it fits his personality.
I was really salivating over the LTI until I saw the price. I reckon I'll have to settle for the redneck version:
If you can find a junked earth mover that would work too. If you're headin out into the wilderness you gotta have the height for the zombies and Big Foot. lol.

Well, my understanding is that it has to be 3 cents or else it does to dust. I will ask someone to make sure though.

Ok good, I hate downvotes, thanfully I don't get very many!
I believe the threshold is .02, but the upvote curve means you'd have to give a .08 vote for it to register .02, maybe even more than .08. I have stopped upvoting comments (which is frowned upon in newsteem like so many other things anyway) and go upvote a post of the commenter's instead.

I like watching YouTube videos about these and super yachts. Hard to say which one would be better for zombie apocalypse survival.
Oh that's a great point sir abitcoinskeptic. The yacht sounds great because you would be away from all the chaos until you had to refuel. I guess you'll have to buy both!
I'm always wondering how one would refuel during a disaster, stopping by a gas station seems dangerous. If it isn't blown up, chances are it's a trap.
Very true sir abitcoinskeptic. If you had the means to buy such a vehicle as the EarthRoamer I would assume you would have something planned out like having your own fuel tanks in a hidden location. Great point though because we know the gas at the stations would be gone in a day.

Howdy Jonboy! Great article on this doomsday RV. This thing is badass! You had me sold until I saw that price too. It sucks only people who have money can afford one of these things. I wonder if they have a hippie version HA HA. Maybe a doomsday Volkswagen Van HA HA.
