Hey Sheila! Travelling is fun, but it does tend to get a little "cramped" at times! I'm so sorry for your friend, but it's a beautiful idea what you are creating. Looking forward to seeing the finished product.
Your photos make me a little homesick...in a good way :) We even had two of those lounge chairs too haha
Say hi to Roger ;)
That's too funny Lynne. They are the new replacements from our other zero gravity chairs. The weather and their being 4 years old rotted out the fabric. Roger went through. :-0 . These don't seem to go back as far but are just working fine!!!
I started doing Memory Boxes a few years ago for friends dogs. They became popular sadly enough. This one is working up faster because I think, Tora, Ray's Lab, wants to have a "home" to be in when she gets back. I do feel their spirit , I guess that will be a blog along with the finished box. Hmm. lol
haha Roger went through! There's something to say for waking up, going outside and smelling bacon cooking. It's such a simple life in so many ways :)
@swedegis it certainly should be a blog!
My dog's ashes are with Brian's ex-wife back home if you can believe it! They never had kids, but had dogs and cats (same thing really :), so she takes good care of him in our absence. I didn't want him in a storage locker...the idea of it made me way too sad!
We have the ashes of our first heart dogs, Sophie, mine, and Fergus, Roger's here right with us. Some people say..euuuu, but they are with us! My sister was creeped out last year when she slept in our bed with Soph right next to her on the small mantel. lol
hahaha yes @swedegis, some people just don't get it, but I understand completely. I used to continue to talk to Max all the time in his vase 😂
