Meditation to centre our intentions.
Another little write... And one of my oil paintings called Purple desire.
When there’s a will, there’s a way… So they say..
So lets stare at our intentions when we are in moments of doubt… There’s always a way to find positive aspects of the circumstances we are at… And if not, we are not actually assessing our positions accurately.
Our perceptions are usually like looking through a magnifying lens. We focus in what we are trying to understand or resist. We run the risk of not seeing the bigger picture.
But the opportunities arise when we are face to action. Looking up and around, moving your views of the world and the responses our bodies make, are a good way to open our perspectives and our minds.
We avoid regret by centring our heart and acting upon from self-love, when we can trust our self-preservation instincts.
I believe Regret is rooted in insecurities.. It’s the belief that we are sabotaging our own growth and purpose. So mastering the acceptance of our choices can be the compass we need in order to achieve inner peace.
Our minds can talk us in or out of pretty much anything… It’s Will what allows us to achieve our goals.
So gather ourselves. Find a quiet spot to do this simple meditation I’ve used to grow a solid centre in my heart.
Start by resting your mind in the concept of infinite…
Reach out to contain the whole expanding universe in your awareness.
Connect your breath with the limits of the universe upon each exhalation.
Find the natural rhythm of expansion.
Surrender your individuality to the vast whole.
Feel you Heart call to that limit in the inhalation…
Expansion now works both ways.. Inwards in the inhalation and outwards in the exhalation…
Slowly the expansion will reach your heart, which is now connected to the outward movement and it’s one with everything..
This discernment shines.. A warm golden light bathes everything that exists coming from the centre of our chest.
Stay contemplating this image till you are ready to shed that light upon the mundane and get on with living your life in the shiniest side of our capabilities.
Be the best you can.
Beautiful piece. Soft, sumptuous colors. Mauve waves in and out of the foreground and washes against the curves of your foreground subject. It's quite exquisite. In addition the mediation would pair well as a written tablet adjacent to the piece hung up and along with some ambient music, be a great start to the day.
Blessings from a fellow artist!
