Steemit newbie baring her Monday soul

This is my first post here. It's Monday morning and like a true Monday vibe, the internet is not working properly, tons of things to do and never ending question: What the hell am I doing?

After working in few jobs, feeling like I am losing my soul from 9 to 5 and finally deciding to start as a freelance artist and graphic designer, I wonder, is it any different? After almost 2 years it seems like I am slooooowly getting somewhere, but it still feels like I am trapped in a money-bill world, stuck my head in the computer/phone and after a long day so hard to find inspiration. It's been quite a while since I really made art, from my heart.

I have few simple wishes: to design for mindful people, to design with a sense I am doing something meaningful for good cause, to grow values, improvement, connection. To help people, with my knowledge and skills, who share love and empower others, and also to learn, learn, learn how to be better myself.

And the other thing - to make art, art that comes with good intentions, to inspire people, to contribute to homes and spaces, where people feel good, to remind us of all of the brilliant stuff that exists in this world, in other living beings, and gratefulness to be a part of it.

This is not supposed to be a desperate post about »how hard is this life, let's all cry«. It is a reminder, encouragement about »what the hell are we doing?« We are here to change things on the better, not dive into the existing system like this is the only possible way to live.

When I am not spitting on the current world situation :) I actually paint, for real! ;)

Here is one of my portrait works - Tribe woman, I admire ancient cultures, their connection with nature, spirits and themselves. Some of the skills that we need to relive again. In the past few years, I had the opportunity to get to know and implement some old practices into my life as well. Have you ever come across useful knowledge from our ancestors?
