I recommend staying away from tiktok, if you think Facebook is bad about your personal information. There is no separation between business and state in China.
You can assume all your information is in an unencrypted database at The Party’s headquarters.
I doubt unless we use VPN and private accounts that our data is secure in anyway 😉 but I ask why does it matter? Why does what I look at matter to anyone else? Why should it matter to me that they are looking? Personalized ads.... seems like only those up to illegal activities are really the ones worth worrying about... or possibly those naive enough to fall for the scams 😉
