I don’t think it could’ve been said any better about expats standing something to lose should they tell the truth—you nailed it. It’s a pitiful reality, don’t you think?

Costa Rica is gorgeous, don’t let me confuse you. The scenery, wildlife, sunsets, beaches, it’s breathtaking at times. However, the mentality of not just the locals but, the majority of humans who reside there, casts ugly shadows across all of it. We won’t be going back—ever. And that’s just sad.
