Wasps & Apheloria!
Wasps & Apheloria!
On this occasion, I would like to show all of my friends about the two types of small animals that I photographed in the low bushes near the road around where I live in Aceh, Indonesia. I say small animals because they were still small when I photographed them. But around these two small animals, there are also large ones but I don't dare to take pictures of them, hehe. I know this animal is a dangerous animal so I took a photo of the small one.
The animal that I photographed first was a wasp. So when I photographed it this flying insect landed in a black plastic bag in a bush by the side of the road. I tried to approach him by walking slowly and the insect felt calm and did not feel disturbed by my arrival. But after I photographed it about three times the little insect flew into another bush which made me reluctant to follow it.
These are the two pictures of wasps that I show because the other one is blurry and unattractive to display.
The second object that I photographed on the edge of the roadside bushes is Apheloria. The first time I saw this little animal I thought it was a small centipede. It turns out that this animal is named Apheloria which is an animal genus of black millipedes. As soon as this little animal saw me take a picture, Apheloria seemed frightened and ran and hid in the crack of the rotten tree.
I'm a bit more at peace with photographing apheloria than photographing wasps. Say this Apheloria beast is dangerous, at least it can't fly or jump and I don't touch it either. So I took it casually even though it was a little difficult to focus because the animal was constantly moving and hiding in the cracks of the rotting wood.
Here are some pictures of little Apheloria trying to hide from my smartphone camera.

Always happy to share about nature around me and the things that are closest to me in the hope of giving something beautiful to all of my friends.
Stay grateful for the blessings of life today, whatever the shape and color.
