Hello Steemit community :)

I would like to say hello to you all and give you some informations, about the mosta popular Charity Rally in Poland - it's called #ZLOMBOL :) We are helping children and I'm proud of it!:)

On the bottom of this post are my videos from the Rally.

from Wiki
Złombol - a charity car rally racing event with a starting point in Poland. Goal of the rally is to finish about 2500 km in a few stages using a car that was built or designed during communist era. The rally is taking place each year in July, August or September. Starting point is always Katowice.

The 2016 & 2017 event has been called the largest charity car rally in Europe.
The rally was conceived in 2007 as an idea of couple of friends to pass a very long distance in a very old car, and to use that event to gather funds for an orphanage. In the first edition there were only two teams.

Teams taking part in the rally are gathering money for orphanages by selling advertising space on their cars. Each team has to acquire donors to reach a target amount specified each year by the organizers. Teams are self-funded - no sponsorship is allowed.

Additional donations, without selling ad space, are allowed. Whole gathered amount of money is used for the described purpose, which is supporting orphanages.

The Rally
Złombol is an extreme rally. Teams have no support or help from the organizers. The organizers only suggest places on camping spots for a night's rest. Each team is taking part on their own expense and risk.

Only cars manufactured in the former Eastern Block (during communist era or after the transformation of 1989, but having roots in the former) are allowed to take part in the competition. The car should be bought for less than 1000 zł (about 320 USD), but slight divergences are allowed.

The cars are using public roads, and are traveling in small groups or individually, whatever the team's preference is. Each team individually tracks the route for a given stage - only the starting and destination points are provided.

After reaching the finish line, each team travels back to their homes on their own.

A lot of fun :)
I would like invite you to watch some movies from that Rally:
